The Road to Switzerland

With the 'Amsterdam Toothache' a fading but fearsome memory, it was time to move on through Germany bound for Lucerne taking in some of the smaller touristy towns along the way.
Would have loved to have spent more time in places such as the Rhine Falls but with a strict time schedule to keep, we had to keep pressing on.
Didn't see much of Mainz given the timeframe, but got a walk down to the river to get a few shots of some impressive and detailed doors. Heidelberg was pretty neat, lots of cool cobblestone alleyways with the morning light casting some interesting, if not tricky shadows to try work around. The rolling Swiss countryside was a sight to behold, again would have been lovely to get some shots from in the paddocks themselves but had to make do speeding past at 100km/hr.
Bit more of a slower pace tomorrow around Lucerne, can't wait.
